Jr NTR’s film Devara has done great business at the box office since its first day of release. It created a new record on the opening day by collecting Rs 82.5 crore, which is slightly behind Vijay Thalapathy’s film GOAT. According to sacnilk, Devara had a great opening weekend collection of Rs 78.1 crores, starting with the opening day. However, there was a huge drop on the first Monday. The film collected Rs 12.75 crores on this day, which is a drop of -68.05%. The Telugu section earned Rs 8.2 crores, while the Hindi section earned Rs 4 crores. The Kannada version collected Rs 10 lakhs, the Tamil version Rs 35 lakhs and the Malayalam version Rs 10 lakhs.
The total gross collection in India in four days was Rs 205.15 crores. There were also good earnings from overseas, where the total figure was Rs 62 crores. Thus, the worldwide total collection of the film by the end of four days was Rs 267.15 crores. On Monday, the film’s occupancy was 26.91% in Telugu, 12.73% in Hindi and 20.36% in Kannada.
The film has earned a total of Rs 2.81 crore till 3 pm on the fifth day (October 1). With this, the total collection so far has increased to Rs 176.16 crore. Telugu occupancy is currently at 17.32%, and it dropped to 8.37% on Tuesday.
